Holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Cairo University. Master's researcher in Psychiatry at Ain Shams University. Currently works at the PSTIC organization under the umbrella of Terres des Hommes. Worked as a psychiatrist at the "Mersal" foundation through its mental health clinics in 2023. Psychiatrist in the psychological support program for refugees and migrants with Caritas. Provided psychological and social support services with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in 2021. Worked as a mental health specialist with Doctors of the World (MdM) in 2020 to support refugees and migrants. Psychiatrist at Helwan Mental Health Hospital, under the General Secretariat of Mental Health.

Dr. Fatma believes that the core of the therapeutic process is based on a collaborative and open relationship between the therapist and the patient, built on partnership and mutual trust. She believes that building a healthy therapeutic relationship enables the patient to develop safer and healthier relationships in their personal life.
